The Cambridge Street Upper School Parent Caregiver Organization (Cambridge Street PCO) is a 501c(3) public charity that supports the work of the teachers, staff and caregivers of the Cambridge Street Upper School (CSUS) in Cambridge, MA.

Our goal is to raise funds and provide helping hands to support the great work being done at Cambridge Street Upper School.

About CSUS

CSUS serves student scholars in grades 6, 7, and 8 with a total student population of approximately 300 youth ages 11 to 14. The student population is wonderfully diverse and culturally rich. Of the scholars attending CSUS 27% live in a household where the first language spoken at home is not English.

The school is fortunate to be the host of the middle school Autism Spectrum Disorder program of the Cambridge Public Schools and in part those scholars help make up the 25% of students with disabilities. The greatest challenge to those working with and supporting these scholars is that 62.5% of the children have high needs as defined by the MA Dept. of Education and over 46% percent of the young people attending Cambridge Street Upper School live in economically disadvantaged households.

Donate to the PCO

For the 2024-2025 school year, the PCO is setting the bar high for our kids! We've committed to paying for ALL student field trips this year* to ensure no kid is left behind. We will also continue to pay for teacher appreciation lunches, grocery gift cards for families in need, DJs for school dances, and so much more. Funding these activities is a huge task to take on and we could use your help! Your donation is fully tax-deductible.

*the 8th grade year-end trip will require additional funding
